Kellan Lutz Talks about Rob's fame in His New Interview

Well, it’s crazy because with all this attention, all of us are handling it extremely well. We still have our head on our shoulders and our feet on the ground. Rob’s handling it so well. I can’t fathom being in his shoes. I believe I could handle it, but being cooped up in Vancouver and not being able to leave the hotel room or the apartment without having a driver and having to hide out—especially when he was shooting Remember Me, I talked to him a lot in New York and those fans were just crazy. I can’t imagine trying to act when you have all these people yelling your name and you’re doing an emotional scene."

Man, everytime I read how Rob is dealing with his fame, it really makes me want to cry...I don't know why...maybe I'm being extremely sensitive, but thats just the reaction I get when I read he can't go out, he's trapped in a hotel...knowing that the only place he feels truly safe is on a closed set...Its just not fair...not for him, not for anybody.

You can tell Kellan really, really loves Rob and probably wants to protect him just like of us fans do and I have to say I really love him for that, he seems very genuine and sweet, I'm so glad his Emmett. Just for that, I'll go watch his new flick "Nightmare on Elm St"...I wasn't going to watch it because I'm not liking the new "Freddy Krueger", but I'll forget about old Freddy and just watch sweet-hunky Lutz.

Its no secret to anyone how huge Rob's fame is. Some may even debate on whether this fame is just a phase on the actor's life or is it just the beginning of a promising career. 
Well, while we wait to see the results of that debate, some of his co-stars of "The Twilight Saga" have commented on how Rob has been handling his heartthrob status and the hysteria that comes along with it. 
Anna Kendrick was one of those co-stars who stated her views on Rob's fame in comparison to George Clooney's. 

"George Clooney is a giga-star. An Academy Award victor. Th e man women desire and men desire to be. But for sheer, ear-piercing squeals, he's no Robert Pattinson.

Anna Kendrick should know. Th e 24-year-old actress has been in the rare -- and, for many females, enviable -- position of having worked alongside both actors.

Even as she swung through the Toronto International Film Festival to promote Clooney's Up In The Air, she was preparing to wrap work in Vancouver on the second Twilight sequel, Eclipse, in which she reprises the role she originated in 2008's phenom. The first sequel, New Moon, opens in November, weeks ahead of Up In The Air.

"I've never seen anything like it in my life," she says of the hysteria surrounding Pattinson, who stars as the Twilight's brooding blood-slurper Edward.

"People were asking me 'Can you believe how crazy this premiere (for Up In Th e Air) is?' And I was like, 'You ain't seen nothing.' Most people have never seen anything like the Rob Pattinson phenomenon."

How do the two leading men, albeit of different generations, compare? "They get different sides of it. Rob gets a lot of screaming and alot of prying and a lot of intensity, which doesn't necessarily feel good when it comes from a hysterical place. And then I see people talk to George, because he's so established, people try to trick him into saying something and it's interesting watching him sidestep that stuff so gracefully and never lose his cool; I don't know how he does it." ..." Read rest of article here

Michael Sheen Talks About Rob w/ MTV

In this interview, Michael Sheen states how well is Rob coping with all the fame he got in a split second and talks about his sweet loving character "Aro" in New Moon.

In the "Twilight" universe, there's no shortage of father figures. For tough, fair and loving, you have Bella's dad, Charlie Swan. For a slightly better-looking, cooler paternal icon, there's Dr. Carlisle Cullen. Now, Twilighters have a new one in 40-year-old veteran actor Michael Sheen.




We know that Sheen's Aro isn't technically the "father" of the Volturi clan, but in many ways, the star took his role as elder statesman on both sides of the camera very seriously. Recently, we caught up with the star of "Kingdom of Heaven," "The Queen" and "Blood Diamond" to get his thoughts on the "Twilight" family, a "scary as hell" Dakota Fanning and all that RPattz insanity.


MTV: Michael, at MTV News, we're obsessed with all things "Twilight," and we recently premiered the new trailer. Have you seen it?



Michael Sheen: Yes, I did see it. I was amazed to see I was in there.


MTV: Have they shown you a cut of the film?


Sheen: No, nothing yet. I'm very excited about seeing it, as most people are — especially with my daughter, who is a big fan. I look forward to going to the premiere with her.


MTV: You must have a whole new fanbase now.


Sheen: I'm very big with the under-12s. They're very big fans of "Frost/Nixon."


MTV: Tell us about your character in "New Moon."


Sheen: I play Aro. For people who aren't fans of the books, I play one of the Volturi — somebody described it as being like the royal family of vampires, which I guess is a good description. He's very calming on the surface, very gentle and soft on the surface. But beneath, he is a psychopathic killer. ... He's a great character, and I had a great time doing it.


MTV: When will we see Aro next?


Sheen: Well, he doesn't appear in "Eclipse." He appears again in "Breaking Dawn."


MTV: Have they told you to set aside some time for that one?


Sheen: Who knows? Nothing has been spoken about yet.


MTV: We can also see some teases of a dark Dakota Fanning in the "New Moon" trailer. How is she in the film?

Sheen: She's fantastic. She's scary as hell, but she looks so sweet. She's got a great character there. People are really going to love her.


MTV: You've worked with all kinds of actors. But is there anything quite like working with the maelstrom that is Robert Pattinson?


Sheen: [Laughs.] I don't know how he copes with it all. I certainly wouldn't have been able to deal with it when I was his age. He and Kristen are really amazing. They're fully committed to what they're doing, and I wish them all the best.


MTV: What's the one "New Moon" scene you're most excited to see come together?


Sheen: There's a great scene that involves all of them. Robert, Kristen — Ashley is there as well. All the Volturi are there, and we're on this amazing set, and there's a lot of effects and stuff. I think that will be amazing.

Olivia Wilde Gives her Analogy about RPattz

In the latest issue of GQ, Olivia Wilde was asked about Rob Pattinson and she gave a very interesting opinion about the hot British Star and his fame.

On Hanging With Robert Pattinson Recently:"I did not envy him. I think it's the frog-in-boiling-water concept. Robert Pattinson jumped in boiling water and has stayed in it, and hopefully will survive. Whereas I entered the water when it was cold, and it's been slowly heating up -- a slooooow boil. Maybe I won't realize when it's getting dangerous."
